At Meiringen Airport, we installed a wildlife warning system on behalf of Armasuisse. This system monitors the highway between Meiringen and Brienzwiler and automatically activates traffic signals when wildlife is detected to prevent traffic accidents. A total stretch of over seven kilometers is monitored. The system uses 150 sensors. Commissioning is scheduled for 2021.
